I have an extreme amount of dust coming through our duct work in my belief. I am interested in checking to see if we have any gaps and how much will having the duct sealed costs, also how much for added attic insulation.

New 5-ton Heat Pump estimate and increasing air flow to the 2nd story of house (heat and cool)

I have recently purchased my second house. Shortly after moving in, we discovered mold throughout the house. As part of the remediation process, I'm leaning on my architectural engineering background while at Purdue to figure out how to keep the IAQ at a healthy level in the future. The mold is likely left over from a prior remediation. The source of the water is gone (previous flood in basement), but the mold still came back. This leads me to believe the mold growth was able to happen because of poor ventilation, or the previous owner ventilating the house with open windows on hot, humid days. I'm thinking an ERV would help the most, but I've been away from the HVAC engineering business for a while...in fact, I jumped straight from learning this stuff in school to civil engineering working with roads, sewers, water mains, site design, etc. I don't have the experience and exposure to design a system myself, although, I do know many terminologies and theoretical calculations. I've already gotten an IAQ test (high levels of aspergillus/pennicilium were found); am I correct that the next best step is to run a blower door test to understand the natural infiltration/exfiltration rates of the home? Thank you.

Would like to have an inspection of our house to find areas that need to be addressed in order to make it more energy efficient. The house tends to be colder in the winter which causes our furnace to run more.
